Much of my income is spent on expenses resulting from running a family child care home. My rates reflect the value of my services and are not negotiable. If you feel that your family could benefit from assistance with paying for child care please look into programs like Child Development Resources and Children's Home Society of California Ventura County.
*Rates are subject to change without notice. Please contact us to verify the current rates and fees. Rates last updated January 2024.
Discounts
Sibling Discounts
Currently I do not offer a discount for siblings.
Daycare Closings
Except for the Holidays stated in the contract/policies and any days that the daycare is forced to close due to licensing regulations, any days that the daycare closes (such as a child care provider illness, vacation, personal day, training days etc.) will be discounted from your next weeks' tuition.
Absences
Tuition is charged at a flat weekly rate based on enrollment, not attendance. If a child is absent for any reason and the daycare is open there is no discount for the days missed including illness, maternity leave, vacation, school breaks etc.
Other Fees
-
2-Week Security Fee: Equivalent to 2 weeks of care.
-
Unannounced Early Drop Off Fee: $1 per minute.
-
Unannounced Late Pick-Up Fee: $20 for first 15 minutes, $1 per minute thereafter.
-
Returned Check Fee: $35 + any additional fees incurred.
-
Late Payment Fee: $20 if paid after 6:00 p.m. on Friday, $10 per calendar day thereafter including weekends.
State Funded Clients
I gladly accept clients that have child care tuition payment assistance (subsidy) such as payments from Child Development Resources (CDR) and Children's Home Society of California (CHS).

Please be aware that subsidy programs may require a client to pay a co-payment/family fee to the child care provider. They also sometimes don't cover all tuition and other fees. They also only cover a certain number of absences and do not cover my 2-week security fee or penalty fees (late pick-up, late payment and returned payment fees). All fees that are not covered by the state agency must be paid by the client.
Teachers Looking For Childcare
I have a limited amount of spaces and it is my goal to operate at maximum capacity at all times and because of this I do not offer a discount to clients that are teachers during the times that they are off of work for school breaks and summer.
